There can be little doubt that the Coronavirus situation is unlike anything we’ve ever seen, stretching across the globe, even here in our wee corner of Scotland. For us, our local hospital and emergency services are dealing with Coronavirus cases, with some being transferred to our parent hospitals in other cities. For our part, we continue to operate our Children’s Daycare service for the children of key workers in our community and are hugely proud of the parents of the kids as well as the people in our circle who are servicing the community at this time.

For us on the home front, we’re still trying to keep things as normal as possible for the kids, keeping them informed but keeping it business as usual. In this it’s been YouTube videos all the way for their Birnie Family Fun YouTube channel, filming 24-hour challenges and their new baby bunnies, giving us some great entertainment while we sit on lockdown. Also, I’m continuing with the customising our Suzuki 1200 Bandit Motorbike as a project along with some DIY on the house and garden all of which is shared on our Birnie Family YouTube.

We’d love to be doing more, but for the meantime, we’re running a continued reduced schedule of articles and videos during the lock down, as we continue the Daycare Service and keeping Emily and David occupied. We will come back to various features like our teaching videos and Tribulation Soldier ‘Basic Training’ videos, as the workload of the lock down begins to ease. We’ll still be sharing our usual motorbike vlogs and Scottish Tour videos when we can albeit much more in our local area.

This is pretty much where we’re at in this time and as always, if any reading this have suffered from health issues, loss or financial pressure due to the Coronavirus situation, then please know that blanket prayers are being prayed for those in need at this time. I’ve no doubt that our social distancing measures will continue to ease the pandemic and bring us back to our regular life. God bless…

From the north-east coast of Scotland, Pastor Steven is married to Sharon and together, they have two young children called Emily and David.
