Will Christians Live Through the Tribulation?
(Matt 24:40) “…Then two shall be in the field, the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill, the one shall be taken and the other left…”
One crucial piece of knowledge, we must know before considering any teachings of the Tribulation, is that as believers, we’ll never experience this time, no matter how bad a Christian we are. We’ll see the full 7 year tribulation take place from a seat in heaven, but we’ll not experience the 21 judgements of God, the anti-christ, the false prophet or any other of the peoples, demons or events. This, like Noah’s flood before, is a judgement upon the unbelievers of the earth, with those who believe, escaping the full force of that flood.
The main reason we can be so sure about the above is through the basic, milk of the word teachings of the resurrection of the dead and eternal judgments. There are three teachings in each, giving us the timeline of the end times events, and when you understand these foundational teachings fully, you’ll know for sure that there’s just no way, we’ll ever live through this amazing, but terrible time.
