The Seven Trumpets Explained in the Tribulation

Important Message – We’ve been populating our Blog Page as we’ve continued to build our online ministry over the course of 2018, for the official launch in 2019. Now, this will be the last end times article for a few weeks, while I go for surgery starting on the 12th of November. However, as always, our eBooks can be downloaded automatically 24/7 from any of our eBookshop pages which include Amazon, Nook and Kobo. In the meantime, you’re more than welcome to visit our ministry Facebook page @pastorstevenandsharon, where I’ll be sharing a Surgery Video Diary, as part of our personal social media, of the whole experience. Also, we’ll continue to build by adding some more social media videos and updates, which include our motorbike vlog and messages from me. God bless and I hope you enjoy!

With the Seals having been opened, we can now take a look at the result of that Seventh Seal allowing the Seven Trumpets to sound. At this point in the Tribulation Period, the judgements will start hotting up, becoming more and more intense as this seven-year period continues. Like the previous pages, there’s simply a huge amount of questions which can arise from these passages of the Scriptures, yet any could see that these sequences of events will be devastating, not only to the inhabitants of the earth but to the planet itself. So for the purposes of this web page, we’ll take one of the Trumpets sounding and explain very briefly, what’s contained in these verses.

The Fifth Trumpet opens the door to the deepest part of Hell called the ‘Bottomless Pit’ or Tartarus. This is the place where every demonic spirit, who have been sent there, exist in a place of torments. However, during the Tribulation Period, they’ll be loosed upon the earth to do great and terrible things, which makes this a particularly severe judgement indeed. They’re loosed, yet they’re given conditions, that they should not hurt the earth, but only those who are not God’s people. Furthermore, they’re commanded not to kill, but to torment over a period of five months. The effects of these tormentors will be so severe, that men will look to kill themselves. However, God tells us that Death will flee from them so that they’ll have no choice but to endure the judgement.

The above is just one of Seven Judgements in this particular season and the below are the further six, which will take place during the Tribulation Period and in our Tribulation Soldier Series…

The 1st Trumpet: ‘Hail and Fire’

(Rev 8:6)  And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.

(Rev 8:7)  The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth, and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.

The 2nd Trumpet: ‘Sea becomes Blood’

(Rev 8:8)  And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea, and the third part of the sea became blood.

(Rev 8:9)  And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea that had life died, and the third part of the ships were destroyed.

The 3rd Trumpet: ‘The Wormwood Star’

(Rev 8:10)  And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters.

(Rev 8:11)  And the name of the star is called Wormwood, and the third part of the waters became wormwood, and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.

The 4th Trumpet: ‘Sun and Moon Darkened’

(Rev 8:12)  And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars, so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.

(Rev 8:13)  And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice. Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!

The 5th Trumpet: ‘The Bottomless Pit Opened’

(Rev 9:1)  And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth, and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.

(Rev 9:2)  And he opened the bottomless pit, and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace, and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.

(Rev 9:3)  And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth, and to them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.

(Rev 9:4)  And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree, but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.

(Rev 9:5)  And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months, and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion when he strikes a man.

(Rev 9:6)  And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it, and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.

(Rev 9:12)  One woe is past and behold, there come two woes more hereafter.

The 6th Trumpet: ‘Third of Man Killed’

(Rev 9:13)  And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God.

(Rev 9:14  Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.

(Rev 9:15)  And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.

(Rev 9:16)  And the number of the army of the horsemen was two hundred thousand thousand, and I heard the number of them.

The 7th Trumpet: ‘The Seven Vials of Wrath’

(Rev 11:15)  And the seventh angel sounded, and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the Kingdoms of our Lord, and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever.

(Rev 11:16)  And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,

(Rev 11:17)  Saying, We give you thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come, because you have taken to you your great power, and have reigned.

(Rev 11:18)  And the nations were angry, and your wrath is come.

Even having known and studied these passages for quite some time, I don’t think I could fully imagine what these events will be like, but it’s the reality of the Tribulation Period. In our One Million Word Ninth eBook, we’ll put our characters through each and every one, in an attempt to illustrate what these times will be like, but there’s no doubt, they’ll be far worse than we could ever imagine.
