The Isle of Skye Video Series

NEWS AND INFO

At the end of last year, we took a holiday for the first time to the Isle of Skye and although we’ve been there a couple of times before, we’d never taken the caravan to stay for a few nights. And Skye didn’t disappoint giving us the opportunity to relax and film some motor vlogs and some Scottish tour videos. At the time, we knew that we wouldn’t have had time to share them before Christmas, so we waited until the now colder months in Scotland to post as ‘rainy day vlogs.’ Now, we’re coming down to the last three of these weekly videos, after having posted vlogs in the car taking in the amazing sights in Skye as well as video tours of Dunscaith and Armadale Castle.

So it’s now time to get back on the motorbike and continue the filming for this upcoming year which isn’t going to be easy as Scotland’s weather can be very erratic. One day it can be very mild indeed and the next very poor with concerns about the ice. On top of this, we tend to have a shower of snow in April, so it’s not easy to plan. But, I’ll be back out on the bike, looking for days when I can head out to continue our Motorbike Vlogging feature.

Our motorbike vlog is shared each Monday at 6pm Scotland time on our Birnie Family YouTube channel and Facebook, but also shared the following day on platforms such as Reddit, Tumblr and Linkedin. Hopefully, this year will cover many miles of our Scottish roads with tours around the landmarks and I’m certainly looking forward to filming and getting back on the bike!

BLOG BLURB – Don’t forget that we have our winter project of customizing our Suzuki Bandit Motorbike as part of our Birnie Family YouTube channel!
