NEWS AND INFO SERIES

Well, we’re back after a good Christmas period in which the kids thoroughly enjoyed and we certainly hope that you enjoyed also. It was the usual for us with Christmas and getting a chance to spend some time with extended family but we did manage to share Youtube videos of these special calendar days. In this, we managed to film, edit and share videos that same day and they were close to the wire, however, we did it, so it’s definitely something we’ll be doing next year.

So we’re pretty much back to continuing the build of this now large and far-reaching platform. As part of this, we’ve recently incorporated Google Ads to our website and it’s taken a little time to set up in such a way that it doesn’t interfere with the design and layout of the site. That in itself wasn’t easy but after a little trial and error, it seems to be fitting in fine with the platform.

The one drawback is having only partial control over the ads which are shown as Google decide this as part of a user’s history and interests. This means that there are some ads which may not be in keeping with the theme of our website, but hopefully, this will become few and far between as we continue adjusting the settings. It’s hoped though that this will make our website, an even more user-friendly platform with interesting ads and info.

So over the next little while, I’ll be sharing some information articles about the latest features of our online platform as a bit of a catch-up, but for now, we certainly hope you enjoy a little view of Hogmanay in Scotland!
