Help for Heroes
MAY BLOG NEWS – “…Although we’re in the early stages with our connection to the UK’s Help for Heroes Military Charity, we hope to partner with the USA’s Wounded Warrior Project and Operation Supply Drop in due course..”
There can be no doubt, that our military personnel experience a side of life that very few of us will see. We know that many serve in various conflicts and are fortunate to come home unscathed. However as we know, some unfortunately return to us with injuries both physical and mental & emotional. It’s for this reason that we’ve chosen to donate a percentage of eBook downloads to these charities so that we can do our part together, as an author and readers, to give to these amazing individuals and their families.
So during the building of our series, we’d chosen three military charities from both the UK and USA. The first is the UK’s Help for Heroes Charity, which is detailed below, and the other two we hope to partner with in the future, are the USA’s ‘Wounded Warrior Project’ and ‘Operation Supply Drop.’ We’ve been following both WWP and OSD for some time and have been hugely impressed by the work they do, so we’ll make the moves to partner with them soon. For now though, we’re hugely proud to be connected with Help for Heroes and we certainly hope you appreciate the work they do and feel a part of our donations toward this amazing charity.
The Help For Heroes Charity
“…Our vast network of professionals and partners not only help serving members of the Armed Forces but also ex-Servicemen and women and their families. We achieve this through physical and emotional rehabilitation and recovery. We also identify new career opportunities and offer financial and welfare support.
We know that those who serve together, recover better together – supporting each other, enjoying a sense of fellowship once more.
The Nation has united behind our Armed Forces. During our first ten years, we’ve directly helped more than 17,000 individuals and their families in this way. Offering this to thousands more who need it remains possible thanks to our supporters, and specialist charity partners…”
