Intimate Relations and The Tribulation Soldier

Intimate Relations – (1 Cor 7) “…Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband. The wife has no power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband has not power of his own body, but the wife. Defraud (Greek – Deprive) not one the other (intimately), except it be with consent (mutual decision) for a time, that you may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again (intimately), that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency (Greek – restraint)…” A two way street; the man and the woman being equal in the area of intimate relations, the wife’s body is the husbands and the husbands body is the wife’s, equally…
Intimate Relations – It’s in my personal nature as a called qualified overseer within the Body of Christ to have a deep desire to help others and teach them all about the Jesus I’m passionate about. God’s ways are simply genius and infinitely more effective to transform a person’s dark existence to a life full of joy, peace and a hope like no other. This life in Christ can be a tremendous experience but it’s not without its challenges and it’s these difficult times where Pastors, Elders and experienced Christians come in. One of these challenges which many if not all married couples experience from time to time is in the area of that all important aspect, of intimate relations within their marriage.
From God’s Word, from experience and by the leading of the Holy Spirit to teach others, I’ve become convinced of just how crucial this aspect of a relationship is however, it’s not the kind of subject which can be preached from the pulpit or in some groups. This isn’t because intimate relations is a dirty taboo subject but just unsuitable for the young, some single individuals and those who struggle with issues of lust to be hearing these truths from the scriptures at the wrong time and place in their life, causing them to stumble.
It’s this sensitivity and fear of leading one of your brothers or sisters in Christ into a place of temptation which makes preaching this subject within a Christian Assembly very limiting indeed but when you do have the opportunity to share the truths of this subject in a clear and appropriate way, well the results can be amazing. It’s wonderful to see a Christian’s mind-set change before your eyes and see them released into a new way of thinking when they see the revelation of the verses I cited at the beginning of this message and knowing, that it will bear Godly fruit and have the desired effect.
Intimate relations are crucial to a marriage and this is why I’ve found Christian Fiction, written very appropriately and without explicitness, to be a tremendous teaching tool to preach these messages and explain these subjects to enlighten Christians in a way like no other. After all, Jesus used many earthly examples and fictional life situations to explain Kingdom Principles. The opportunities within Fictional situations to explain intimate relations in an appropriate way are limitless and you can literally put your characters into many circumstances to teach and it’s this thread, among many other Christian Teachings, which is strong throughout The Tribulation Soldier Series.
But now, as we begin the countdown to the release of the fourth publication, it’s a good opportunity for me to remind those who will follow the Series and for those who already are, to warn of the dangers, if you are indeed young. The thread of intimate relations and the various fictional scenarios become stronger as we continue through the Series and Pastor-Major-Sniper-Sailor moves into even more detail than before. It’s these threads which make our Tribulation Soldier Series suitable for adults only.
It may sound strange, as the proceeds from our publications go toward our Children’s Home Project and the various charities we support however, if you are young, please do not buy these EBooks. I cannot emphasise this enough so if you’re young, with the blessing of your Elder Christians, I’d love to teach you all about my passion for marriage as God intended to dispel the myths and stereotypes that ‘your life would be over’ because it’s a wonderful gift and in God’s Hands, something very special indeed.
To the engaged or the married though, I hope to teach on the inner workings of this marriage through the events in the Tribulation Soldier as I attempt to show the ways of God so you can experience marriage the way it was intended to be enjoying every gift God gives in this union. Most of us have been brought up to think intimate relations are taboo and sometimes dirty subjects; God and God’s Word will prove these beliefs to be very wrong indeed adding to your marriage like nothing else and setting you free in the process.
In ‘Pastor-Major-Sniper-Sailor’ the fourth EBook in the Twelve Part Series, we touch on these subjects throughout and again in an appropriate way, as we follow Pastor Paul McLaughlin the tough Special Air Service (SAS) Major who appeared in the previous publication of ‘Captain Sharpe’s Trial.’ We pick up on Paul’s story as he lives as a Christian Pastor and Major in the Elite Armour Infantry Corps fighting in the world’s conflicts and operating behind enemy lines. Set for the most part in Morocco, Paul takes on an impossible mission to rescue an aid worker deep in the Dead Zone all alone and without his AIC Armour. Follow Paul as he takes on these impossible odds engaging the enemy alone, escaping and evading and leading the stranded aid worker to safety, all by the leading and protection of God.
This EBook has a bit of everything and I hope that you’ll not only enjoy the action and adventure, but find the truths of Christian relationships and marriage throughout, all the while seeing Paul’s life change as he operates as a Pastor, a Major, a Sniper and a Sailor. This EBook will be released in the coming weeks but if you’d like to know more about the Tribulation Soldier Series you can visit the Tribulation Page of our Website or ask questions on our NEW Forum at tribulationsoldier.proboards.com.
