Author and Pastor, Rev. Steven Birnie

.

Good evening.

.

We have been so blessed to meet so many Christians, Pastors and Churches through our Online Bookshop and tonight I thought I might share a short letter which the writer, Bishop Joseph, kindly gave me permission to upload on our Website. Due to the length of time our website has been in operation, our search engine ranking of articles is good so I hope this short article will be found around the world so that you may, by the leading of God, consider to pray for these unknown and essential ministries.

.

Hi Pastor Steven Birnie and the family.

.

Shalom !

.
Thanks a lot for the message. For sure I have seen the Love of God. This Home request you to be their Donor relations and The International Project Coordinator. Home Of Champions Kenya I Bishop Joseph Hawkins Agutu a lively man having the heart of orphans in me. I’m a Kenyan Citizen aged 38 years old born in a poverty prevalent area where people survive under a dollar per day. I was given a vision targeting the rural area where many orphanages are based in towns. I’m the second born in his family and lost the Father in the year 2006 and now staying with the mother who is also unable and poor. I struggled with life and left school in class 8 due to lack of school fees and later struggled with life again in a jua kali where I was doing body building and spray painting, later in the year 1997, I left Juakali and began to preach the gospel. I was chased away from houses to houses due to lack of rent and I ended up being a street boy, eating the drop out food in the streets. I was a well-known man in town as a hopeless person. I later studied privately and registered officially with the KCSE in the year 2003 and got C+ grade. Through God’s favour I’m now the director of Home of Champions Kenya Project and Victory Complex Academy..a success story in the making.

.

In the year 2010 in November, I was arrested and taken to Court without proper reason with the case of Defilement of a girl aged 17 years which was NOT true. This was just an ill motive and Malice from the society who were against my spiritual and development. It was one day when the Magistrate wanted me to pay him the Bribe of 80,000 Kshs to finish the case but I stood firm in the Lord to say I can’t give Bribe it’s against the law of God.

.
Later I was sentenced to 20 Years imprisonment. I went to Prison and the life became different but what I knew is that God will never forsake me. Thank God that I preached the Gospel while in Prison after serving 3years in Prison the Lord discharged me. I was called to the High court thinking that I may have another case following me but God saw it wise to remove me out of Prison.
I was released to be a free Kenyan under section 210 of the CPC but did nothing to those who spoil my names. I forgave them all and will continue loving them.

.
The Children’s Home collapsed due to lack of Money and proper management at the time I was in Prison. When I came back Home on 6th of last year 2013 December , I found when my beloved Wife is dead and was brought from the Mortuary the same day. I slept and the next day 7th we buried my wife. It was a very sad news and un believable to the eyes of many.

.
Around evening hours I went to the Orphanage Home and found all things were stolen plus dormitory facilities and all my house belongings but what came from my mind was that God who gave me the Vision and wisdom to manage this Children’s Home is still alive and has many things in the store.  I started again the Home and now having over 220 Orphans 68 staying in the Children’s home boys and girls and the rest stay with their foster families but get support from us.

.

I was behind with 2 Children namely Derrick Horn kohl 8 years and Daisy Lesley Hawkins 5 years old after the death of my beloved wife. This Children’s Home needs your spiritual support, financial support, Physical support and material support. The status of this Children’s home more worse and we pray that God touch you for the support. Majorly food and workers support are our first Priorities. I have achieved reinstating the Church and now we have over 60 Members in Church and this Ministry as well needs your affiliation, Networking and Membership for the glory of God.

.

We humbly request your office to send us some people on 6th of August for the Ministry launching and Children’s Home as well.
Kindly please communicate back.

.
Blessings.
